[Kerbal Space Program] “Don’t Show Game Launcher” setting in-game does not work for the Private Division Launcher on Steam or Epic

In Kerbal Space Program there is an option to “Don’t Show Game Launcher” in the settings, please be advised that this button does not work whether toggled on/off, causing the Private Division Launcher to continue to launch on Steam and Epic (this button was initially for a legacy launcher no longer in use!).
