If your child hominid is the last surviving member of your clan, you will not be able to hide in any location, as there are no other adult or elder hominids that you can switch to.

Instead, you will need to brave your fears and seek an outsider hominid. You can use your senses to help you locate them. Upon befriending the outsider, you will gain a new clan member and gain the ability to switch to this adult hominid. You’ll then be able to start working towards rebuilding your clan.
